Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your booking with Lallies Landings ("we", "us", "our"). By completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.



1. Payment Structure

When booking your trip with us, we offer two payment options:

  • Option 1: Pay a 20% deposit to secure your place. Pay the remaining balance 5 months prior to departure (notification of payments due will be clearly communicated).
  • Option 2: Pay the trip cost in full at time of booking.

Important: If the booking is made 3 months or less before departure, full payment is due at the time of booking.

If full payment is not received by the due date, then rates and tour space cannot be guaranteed and deposit paid will be retained by Lallies Landings.

All payments made will be immediately confirmed by email to you.

2. Conditions of Booking

Reserve your place on one of our trips by completing the booking form and paying your deposit. 20% of the trip cost is considered a deposit. This deposit covers planning and pre-booked services that begin once your spot is reserved.

Your deposit is non-refundable and not included in any cancellation refunds.

Your booking confirmation and deposit payment will be confirmed immediately by email. We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email.

3. Insurance

You must take out a valid personal travel insurance policy that covers your trip in this jurisdiction. You will be required to send confirmation that such insurance exists prior to your trip departure date.

We accept no responsibility for:

  • The theft, loss or damage to personal belongings at any time during the duration of your tour.
  • Personal injury, any medical issues/death at any time during your trip.

4. Cancellation Policy

We hope this doesn't arise, but in the event that you do need to cancel your trip with us, we will do everything possible to make this a smooth process for you. We outline how our cancellation policy works below:

4.1 Insurance Claims

If you need to cancel after the cutoff time for refunds has passed, you may be able to make a claim under your personal insurance policy.

4.2 Resale of Your Place

If Lallies Landings is in a position to resell your cancelled place on the proposed trip, we will recompense your monies paid, less €500 handling fee.

4.3 Refund Process

Note: Any refund which has been agreed with Lallies Landings can only be refunded via bank transfer, it cannot be carried out using a credit card or other payment methods. Refunds will only be made to the bank account of the person to be refunded.

4.4 Force Majeure

In the case where Lallies Landings is unable to operate the tour due to Force Majeure (events beyond our reasonable control, where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances significantly affect the performance of your holiday), including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, or volcanic eruptions
  • Acts of God or extreme weather
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government actions, travel bans, or regulatory restrictions
  • Pandemics or epidemics
  • Strikes, labour disputes, or industrial action
  • Major supply chain disruptions
  • Infrastructure failures

A refund will be issued only if our suppliers provide refunds, otherwise no compensation will be paid for force majeure cancellations.

4.5 Cancellation by Lallies Landings

In the event of Lallies Landings needing to cancel the trip due to insufficient bookings, you will be immediately notified and all monies will be refunded to the bank account of the person booking.

5. General Terms & Conditions

5.1 Eligibility

Our tours are provided to female, over 50 years of age travellers. In order to partake in a Lallies Landings trip, you must be a member of the Solo In Style Community – sign up is simple through www.soloinstyle.com.

5.2 Itinerary Changes

Our trip itinerary is carefully curated months in advance of your trip. Should we deem a change necessary, we will communicate this to you.

5.3 Flight Bookings

Inbound & outbound flights (or other travel arrangements) should not be booked until the trip has been fully booked & confirmed by Lallies Landings. Notification will always be provided 6 months prior to trip start date.

5.4 Photography and Filming

During your tour, your tour guide may take photographs and films of you (as part of a group) which may be used as advertising and publicity material without obtaining any further consent or payment in respect of such photographs and/or films.

5.5 Travel Waiver

A Travel Waiver will be sent to you which must be completed 5 months prior to departure date.

5.6 Passport and Visa Requirements

Your specific passport and visa requirements are your responsibility, and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Passport information, flight bookings and travel insurance details will be requested in advance of your trip. This information will be stored in line with our data protection policy.

5.7 Medical Conditions and Mobility

Our trips are curated for ladies over 50 years of age. We take great care in being mindful of all abilities. However, if your medical conditions and/or mobility issues will limit your ability to participate in our trip, you should notify us before any monies are paid, so that we can ensure your maximum participation. Additional assistance may not be possible if not arranged and agreed at the point of booking.

5.8 Dietary Requirements

Any dietary requirements must be communicated at time of booking. Every effort will be made to accommodate such requirements, but ultimately it is the responsibility of each individual to ensure that any food/drink consumed is in line with their own personal dietary requirements.

5.9 Behaviour and Conduct

We are curators of bespoke, exclusive tours – respect and graciousness are a way of life in Ireland and we courteously ask that you reflect these values in how you interact with your fellow tour guests, tour guides and suppliers agents.

You are responsible for your behaviour and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel your booking or to remove you from any tour if, in our view, your demeanour or behaviour is disruptive, dangerous and/or antisocial to other people. In such an event, no compensation or refund will be payable, and you will be liable to pay any additional expenses reasonably incurred in arranging the curtailment.

5.10 Damage and Loss

When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid at the time direct to the accommodation owner or manager or other supplier. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions.

5.11 Data Protection

We will hold your personal information in accordance with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (and associated legislation) and in line with our Data Retention Policy. We are obliged and permitted by law and regulation to retain certain types of data for a minimum period of time. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

5.12 Governing Law

This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by Irish law. We both agree that any dispute, claim or other matter which arises out of or in connection with this contract or your tour will be dealt with by the Courts of the Republic of Ireland only.
