This is where you’ll stay
Solo In Style Exclusive
A journey created exclusively for Solo In Style guests.
This ten day journey through Ireland’s Ancient East blends heritage, food, and easy company.
We begin in Kildare, where history, horses, and heritage meet. We suspend time for four nights at our beautiful boutique retreat beside the canal. It is a quiet place to rest and breathe before exploring treasures such as Newgrange, Tara Hill, and the surrounding countryside. One of our favourite days brings you to Lallie’s Lott, Maura’s family farm near Trim, where you can share a home cooked lunch, meet the animals, and visit nearby Trim Castle, known for its role in Braveheart. There is also time for browsing Kildare Village, cycling by the water, or simply relaxing in the gardens.
Midway through the trip, we spend a day in Dublin for city life and storytelling, from the Book of Kells and Trinity College to the National Gallery and the charm of Grafton Street.
The second chapter takes us south to County Wexford, where we stay for five nights in a Georgian country house set between woodland and sea. From here, we explore the Hook Peninsula, visit the legendary lighthouse, and enjoy the creative spirit of Kilkenny with guided castle tours, artisan workshops, and an orchard tasting. There is a morning at a local cookery school to prepare a few Irish favourites, and afternoons with space to wander the grounds or rest in the woodland sauna.
Our grande finale is a gala private dining experience, where we toast to friendships and memories along the way.

Evening dinner is a short hop away in an atmospheric gastro restaurant.

After breakfast, visit two of Ireland’s most iconic ancient sites.
Newgrange, a 5,000-year-old passage tomb, and Tara Hill, where the ancient High Kings were crowned.
Lean into the joy of Irish culture this evening with ceoil agus craic, as we embrace Ireland’s love of music and fun.

Today brings you to Lallie’s Lott, Maura’s home farm near Trim.
Enjoy a relaxed lunch of local produce, meet the animals, and visit Trim Castle, Ireland’s largest Norman fortress and the filming site of Braveheart.
We close this first chapter of the trip with a dining experience to remember.

Travel to the capital for a guided day with a local storyteller. Visit Trinity College and the Book of Kells, explore the National Gallery, or follow the flavours of the City Food Trails.
It is a day to enjoy at your own pace.
Later, we make our way south to open the second chapter of our journey.

Awake in the true luxury of a Georgian country house set between woodland and sea. Enjoy a leisurely trip around the peninsula, taking in long beaches and the legendary Hook Head Lighthouse. Wine and dine back at your beautiful hotel.

We journey to Kilkenny, one of Ireland’s most vibrant creative hubs.
Savour a guided tour and tasting at a family-run orchard during the apple harvest, where heritage cider and gin are produced with care and tradition.
Later, take an expert-guided journey through medieval Kilkenny Castle, exploring grand halls, art collections, and the surrounding gardens and parklands.
Meet local artisans, visit their workshops, and enjoy time to meander through Kilkenny’s medieval streets at your leisure. There are opportunities to shop for one-of-a-kind crafts and Irish jewellery, or relax over a drink in one of its lively pubs.

Spend a leisurely afternoon in a nearby fishing village, tasting freshly caught seafood and the famed Wexford strawberries. Take time to enjoy the coastal views and the relaxed pace of the shoreline.
Dinner is in the village tonight, celebrating the flavours of the sea and the easy company of the group.

Enjoy an exclusive morning cookery class led by a renowned Irish chef. Learn how to prepare comforting Irish favourites.
The afternoon is yours to unwind. Walk the hidden woodland paths, rest by the water, or visit the sauna in the woods.
As evening falls, we return to the hotel for our farewell gala dinner. This final night is all about celebrating friendships, shared moments, and the gentle magic that has shaped your journey.

I first met Maura in March 2025 on a tour in South Africa. Little did I know that a truly special friendship was about to blossom. I visited Maura and Áine in September 2025 and was absolutely spoiled! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, laughter, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. Lallie's Lott is a soulful experience. The farm is breathtaking; the food is fabulous, cooked with love, and the company is unforgettable. Maura and Áine have created something truly magical, a space where women can explore the beauty of Ireland, connect deeply, and indulge in delicious meals that nourish both body and spirit. Like all my travels, I seek cultural richness, and the people of Trim are warm and kind-hearted. I felt at home instantly. This getaway was a new adventure, a celebration of friendship, flavour, and fun. I highly recommend Lallie's Lott to anyone looking for a soulful escape filled with heart, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional hospitality, and a whole lot of flavour.
You have been invited. The tradition of farmhouse hospitality has been elevated by these two warm and wonderful women. Their mother would have been so proud. Here is the standard of food and service rarely found in such an interesting setting. The warmth of the welcome to a magnificent modern build sitting proudly over fields of crops and livestock. The Irishness of the setting is confirmed by the hens in the far yard, the home-grown vegetables on the table, and the fairy hollow. Lallies Lott is an exquisite gastronomic experience with the intimacy of a wonderful home. The food has an international flair inspired through education and travel. The ambience is homely, a fantastic evening or day out. And the food, yes, the food, the taste of the food, lingers exquisitely on the tongue and the memory.
I’ve recently had the pleasure of staying near Trim and couldn’t believe my luck. The stunning countryside, the wildlife and farm animals, the characterful local town with great cafes, restaurants and shopping, the history around every corner, the professional but genuinely welcoming hospitality shown to us by Maura & Áine and all the locals we met along the way was so heartwarming. The delicious food prepared with such thought and originality using seasonal ingredients was brilliant. The scenery, and cultural landmarks were fascinating. Lallies Landing’s combination of professional expertise, local knowledge and genuine Irish “craic” ( a good time”) makes them a stand out example of understanding what their clients want and delivering. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lallies Landings to travellers wanting a memorable experience in every way.
